...I must be. Because I can't seem to stay away from nautical styles this week, even in the hallowed halls of The Academy.

I love how the "stripes" on this navy and white tee are actually twisted ropes. With a grey cotton skirt, I felt crisp and cool, like I should be basking in Nantucket instead of sweltering in DC. I added the adorable kitten-heeled coral loafers that I scored from a swap, and a silk scarf that picked up the coral and grey tones.
This is one of my favorite ways to tie a scarf in the summer - a simple knot. It's very cool on your neck, but still decorative and breezy. I swear the silk on the back of my neck helps keep me cool, even on 90+ degree days.
